New Year's Eve!!

Yay, it's New Years Eve! Right now, I'm at Winson's house, and a sister will come pick me up at around 10 p.m. to head over to Jansky's house for countdown. In a blink of an eye, it has already been a year. I'm very grateful for the year of 2009 -- the Vancouver trip, being able to deeply experience the Lord & Abba, and, most importantly, getting baptized!! :D

Some goals for 2010 are to perform in gospel concerts and bring at least 1 friend into church.

And I found another drawing :D It's titled "Sin's Pride"

Pretty amazing, in my opinion. I'm especially impressed with the Avenger stars (the things that he's holding in his hands.) I wish I can draw like them...

Oh man, more drawings

I found another EPIC drawing on BasilMarket. It portrays the 2nd Legendary class, Evan. Evans control dragons, and rather than spells being activated by the characters themselves, they are activated by the dragon.

Here is the picture (the dragon is in its 4th and final stage -- it grows as the character rises in level):

Another one picture I found was at a friend's house (the one whom I played L4D2 at). It's Pikachu :D

Don't you think this picture is just... "LOLWUT"? If you are having a bad day, just take a look at this picture. I'm sure it'll turn your frown upside down.

Left 4 Dead 2!

I went over to a friend's house and played some COD :MW2 and mostly L4D2. I found the online play for both of them fun and amusing, but more in L4D2 (when I play with people who know what they're doing.) Some modes in L4D are fun and interesting, like being able to play as the Infected (zombies), but in order to be effected when infected -- organization within the team is REQUIRED. Otherwise, since the zombies die so easy, the infected team will just "fail." On the other hand, when playing as the Survivors (humans), not as much organization is needed, but communication is still necessary.

It is extremely fun to play with those who care about their teammates and know what they are doing. When you are down (knocked down by a zombie), the other team members are nice enough, or care enough, to come back and get you. When playing with those who don't know where to go/what to do, they're mostly busy with shooting zombies until the their entire screen is cleared (which can never happen, as zombies spawn at a constant rate). As such... they don't come get you until near death.

Overall, I think L4D2 is really fun, especially when playing with friends -- since you know that they will come back for you if you need help.

Avatar - in 3D!

Watched Avatar (not the Airbender) with a bunch of brothers and sisters in Noah group. We saw it at Fairview, since 3D is available there. I thought the plot was good, and the graphics were nice as well. The 3D weren't full-out 3D though, just layers each film a little. Overall, I'd want more of these movies -- they are fun to watch, and suck you right into the movie itself. Sidenote: I would love to have one of those bird thingies.

Also, I heard that it took 8-10 years to completely film Avatar.. I wonder if that is a fact or a myth -I'm gonna search it up on Wikipedia now.

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

It's Christmas time -- Yay!! Wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy holidays! And wanted to post some more drawings I saw (actually done by my school friend). Both drawings are based on MS characters, but they look nothing like them :P

*Note: click pictures to view at full resolution

Portrate: by Michelle
Pirate Jing: by Nathan (my school friend) and Michelle

The drawing of Pirate Jing reminds me so much of Wind Waker from Legend of Zelda.

Wind Waker

And Nathan told me that he draw the outlines of Jing, while Michelle did the coloring. I think it looks fabulous overall, and quite interesting - the style that he uses.

I will go over to my friend's house for dinner/party. My parents say that they planned a "sleepover" at their house because they will drink ._. I thought to myself: can't you just wait an hour or two until you sober up...? But we'll see how it goes. Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Ryu Ho - a Lvl 200 Aran mount

*Note: click on picture to view at full resolution

A drawing of Ryu Ho (of course not done by me), a lvl 200 [wolf] mount in MS. I saw this drawing on a MS-forum that I visit frequently, and wanted to post it to my blog. Many other artists commented on how she (Mandy Lee, the artist) perfectly blends the blue and indigo hues. Others praise that she does an extremely amazing job drawing/coloring the fur on its neck. I think it is amazing -- one of the best animal-drawing ever seen.

On Holiday Break~

Currently in the library typing this blog entry, lol. Decided to go to the library during the Christmas holidays instead of staying home (both my dad and I wanted to get out of the house :P)
I just recieved my report card yesterday, before I went snowboarding with some of my church friends. My average was 91.1 -- the highest I've ever gotten on a report card! =D I was extremely happy with my grades. Hope to continue to keep my marks like this.

Parents back from Cuba!

Parents just got back from Cuba (special trip for them) on Dec 1st midnight.
While they were gone, I was sleeping over at a friend's house (for a week :D goodtimes). It was very fun and exciting, enjoyed staying with them very much. I hoped that I could stay over at their house longer :P

While at their house (Joseph's), I downloaded 2-3 songs; one of them Don't Stop Believing (Glee cast version). Joe listened to it the night it was downloaded, and (I think) it became his second-favorite song :P

Aside from spending time with Joe, I also played lots of Wii, namely Brawl and Mario Kart, with his 2 sisters. Very very fun. AND I helped them unlock all characters on Brawl... *that was fun :)*

My parents brought quite a bit of souvenirs, and one of them was for me :) It was a box with my name written on the front, and when the box is opened, a Spanish phrase is inscribed on the inner side of the lid. Thought I did take Spanish from Gr 7 to Gr 10, I still can't make out the phrase -.-'

Overall it was extremely fun, both for me and my parents, and this trip was pretty interesting -- staying over at a friend's house for a week :O

Halburton Forest

Had been back for a long time, didn't remember to update my post :P

I had tons of fun, and of course, I hiked around Haliburton (a lot).

Day 1:
The first day was actually the most relaxing, as we only stayed at Base Camp (didn't actually start hiking yet).

Day 2:
The 2nd day was the toughest, hiking ~16 km to our next camping destination.
After arriving at 1st Camp, we sat round for a while, since we arrived at around 2:20 p.m. After regaining most of our energy, we set our tents, gathered wood, and cooked dinner :D

Day 3:
Hiking to Wolf Lake, another ~10-15 km from 1st Camp. At 2nd Camp, my body had already adapted to the amount of workload, and did not need to rest as long as I did during Day 2. As usual, wood was gathered to cook dinner, and between the gathering of wood, making the fire, and cooking dinner, we had some time to play some cards with my tripmates.

Day 4:
The easiest part of our entire trip. We were only ~5 km from Base Camp, so I had an "easy ending" to my trip. I think I would rather take on the most difficult parts at the beginning than at the end (since the 3 days of hiking would tire out my body already).

This trip was surprisingly fun, now that I look back and reflect upon it. I might do it again, but I would definitely dogsled again (Gr 10 trip)

Haliburton Forest, Here I Come!

Going to Haliburton Forest tomorrow, a Gr 11 school trip. The reason for going on this trip is to get the leadership "credit", or something that demonstrates leadership. In order to graduate from my school, I have to have at least 3 of these leadership credits, and my school provides all 3 opportunities :D

For example, in Gr 9 - canoe trip. Gr 10 - dog sledding trip (totally amazing & unforgettable. Would really like to do it again), and Gr 11 is a hiking trip in Haliburton Forest.

It's going to be a high of 8 degrees and low of -2 degrees Celsius... gotta bring a little more clothing, but I only have one bag to fit everything into, including my sleeping bag!

In any case, I've already "trial-packed" my bag, so now I know that everything can fit inside that teenie weenie bag :P

After returning from trip, will definitely write about it, so I don't forget what happened either :P

Machinarium is Released Today (in Europe)

Game called Machinarium is released today (only in Europe though). But, there is a wonderful thing called The Internet, connecting people all over the world, even those from Europe.

So, as usual, I got this game from the internet. Very interesting game, this one. It's a point-and-click adventure, but is mainly based on solving puzzles in order to progress farther into the game.

Here is a trailer of it to give a general idea of the game:

Also, just finished Call of Duty: Modern Warfare today. Epic ending and supreme and outstanding plot. It runs two plots at the same time, having the player control of "Soap" MacTaverish, a soldier in 22nd SAS; and Sergeant Paul Jackson, part of USMC 1st Force Recon. The gameplay starts, at first, with SAS (British army) and USMC (American army) on its own operations. But near the last 1-2 hours of the game, they join forces and have "Joint Operations." I especially enjoyed those, as I see SAS and USMC working together to stop a leader of the Russian Ultranationalist party, Imran Zakhaev.

(After I finished the game, I thought to myself, No wonder this game was rated 9.2)

Got my Accounting Test

Just received my accounting test on Unit 1 today, got 98% :D

It was much higher than I expected, and I'm very content with this mark. Hopefully I'll continue to do just as well in other subjects :P

Back from Utica trip

I went to Utica on Saturday, came back yesterday (Sunday) at 11 p.m. My family and I attended the trip mainly to look at maple leaves. The itinerary also said that we will ride a steam train on Sunday to look at the leaves. We thought it meant that we take the train to a place, get off, then we walk around to see the leaves. It turns out that we're supposed to see the leaves on the train (while the train is moving >.>)

It wasn't as bad as I thought though, because surprisingly, it was I who took lots of pictures (not my dad.) We also went to Waterloo Outlet Mall on Saturday, and I bought a lot of stuff, mainly for my school trip near the end of October.

Overall, it was a great experience, although I'd have to say that it would've been much better if we walked around to take pictures of maple leaves (rather than having compete with the motion of the train.)

In a Holiday Inn North of Syracuse

I'm at a Holiday Inn Express right now north of Syracuse. (I'm on a trip.) Luckily, there was a computer with free internet in the main lobby of the inn. Tomorrow, the tour group will get on the bus and travel to train station. From there, we travel via stream train :D

The stream train will take us to a place with lots of Maple Leaves :) And of course, my dad will take lots of picture (and maybe I will too)

Time to head back to hotelroom,
Cheers.

Too Busy

Hadn't been able to post due to extreme business. There are 2 tests tomorrow, 1 formative assessment due also tomorrow, and an extremely big English assignment due this Friday. I had to write about Jazz in editorial style for the assignment, and I found it really difficult because I had been writing essays (non-opinionated) all my life D:

But fortunately, I had help from several friends, and big help from one of them who majored in english :D

Anyhow, have to get back to economics homework and study for accounting & econ test tomorrow.

Who Affects The Lord Most? Gospel concert

Had a wonderful gospel concert today, although the friend that I invited couldn't attend :(

It was fun and I very much enjoyed the songs. There was a bassist, guitarist, alto-saxophonist, pianist, and a few percussionists. Was very fun.

Next time another gospel concert comes, I'll invite more friends :D

6 Sacred Stones - by Matthew Reilly

Just finished 6 Sacred Stones at 1 a.m. in the morning on Friday night =P (It was too good of an action-thriller to put the book down)

The 6 Sacred Stones can be considered the sequel to 7 Deadly Wonders, both having the main character as Jack West Jr. Jack West is ex-Australian SAS, and was the top 5 soldiers of the world (the lone Australian among Americans). After he left SAS, he used his skills to hunt for treasures over the globe.

In 7 Deadly Wonders, Jack West and his team (there are eight teammates, together they were known as the Nine), had to collect treasures housed in the Seven Ancient Wonders. These 7 treasures were the vital components to stopping an Egyptian prophecy-the ending of the world during the Tartarus Sunspot. After he had successfully, though through many many difficulties, stopped the world from being destroyed, another (and much bigger) threat was introduced in The 6 Sacred Stones.

The 6 Sacred Stones describes the Sun's "evil twin", the Dark Sun, that will eventually destroy Earth. How? It is basically a black hole -- that moves. In the beginning of the book, several hieroglyphs and ancient inscriptions at the site of each stone were pieces to solving the puzzle of this Dark Sun. One of the inscriptions had a circle and 10 rings surrounding it. The characters in the book had proposed that it represented our solar system (but it couldn't because there's 10 rings. We only have 9 planets.) Later in the book, it was revealed that the 10th planet was eaten and destroyed by the moving Dark Sun.
Soon, the Dark Sun will reach Earth, and the only way to end its power is to take the 6 pillars to 6 vertices in different locations of earth. Together, they will generate enough power to stop the moving Black Hole.

Side note:
6 pillars & 6 vertices? What? Another one of the ancient symbols displays a picture of The Machine, which will ultimately stop the end of the world. It is a large circle with 6 lines. One end of each line points toward the centre of the circle, and the other end points toward the perimeter (the space between each line is equal, so think of it was cutting a pie into 6 equal proportions.) This Machine is actually Earth itself! In order to activate the Machine, pillars (gigantic diamonds in the shape of a rectangular prism) had to be set in place at each verticle.

The 6 Sacred Stones only goes up to the 2nd Pillar and Verticle, since Jack West Jr. falls down a pit connected to the core of the earth in order to set the 2nd Pillar in place.

At the end of the book, there was an interview with the author. Right off the bat, the first question was: "How can you let Jack West fall down a pit and die?" Reilly stated that he wanted to write a novel that is different from others, one that stands out the most. (And he did it very well.) To achieve this, he had made an extremely big cliffhanger at the end of the book, making his readers wait for the 3rd book that continues the story of Jack West Jr.

And I too, am waiting for the publication of the newest Jack West Jr. series book. (How will West get out of the pit?!, I thought to myself as I was reading the interview)

On a completely different note, for those of you who had enough patience to read through the entire post, I have to say so myself: This post was long. Really long. But the book by Matthew Reilly was longer. Not only have I read 7 Deadly Wonders and 6 Sacred Stones, I have also read (the Shane Schofield series): Ice Station, Scarecrow, and Area 7.
To those who like to read action-adventure-thriller novels, I recommend Matthew Reilly to you. He will keep you at the edge of your seat until you are done with his book-guaranteed.

Economics Test results

I had an economics test on Monday, and it was 12 full pages of fun :)
First half of the test were multiple choice questions (some of them included analyzing graphs in order to answer the question), and the other half were short answer questions. Originally, and test was out of 50, but then it was changed to be out of 53 - more marks, making mistakes worth less (in my opinion) :)

So today I received my quiz, and was very shocked :O (oh no!) it was 51... Percent? No.
It was 51... out of 53! :D

Very happy and very proud of it, I got a -stunning- 96% =D YAY

The two marks that were taken off were actually from the multiple choice questions, and both of them tricked my mind D:
But even though, I was very content with my mark, and will try to get a higher one when the next test comes around!

Lost my Economics Textbook!

As I was getting ready to go home from school, standing in front of my locker, I suddenly realize that my economics textbook was not in my stack of books.

My textbook looked like this:

I searched my bag, cleaned out my entire locker, went to the classroom & tried to look for it, and even asked my teacher if they had seen it. But it was nowhere to be found.

After that, I went to take piano lesson (it was fun, made me forget about that I lost my textbook). Soon after, I returned home. Upon coming home, I thought it would be a good idea to ask my friends & classmates to see if they had seen my missing textbook.

When I talked to one of them, he (my friend) said he had two in his locker (he goes to the same economics class as I do), and is pretty sure that one of them is mine. When I heard this, a wave of relief washed over me. I must've told him to hold the textbook for me while I went to washroom, then he forgot that it was mine and just stuffed it in his locker.

Thank the Lord that I can get my textbook back instead of having to buy another one!

Back from Orangeville Camp

Much enjoyed this camp, and it reminded me of Vancouver World Gathering Camp. I miss Van D:

Messages in this camp were about S.O.S. (i.e. how it was split into 7 parts, and those 7 parts describe the life/steps of a Christian and the relationship with the Lord)

Although S.O.S. was talked about in Vancouver, it was easier to understand the content and meaning at Orangeville =P

On a completely different note, CONCERT COMING UP! On Oct 4th, it is held at Terry Fox Public School. Currently trying to invite a friend to join, but did not receive a reply yet... Hopefully she can attend!

Continue to enjoy the Lord's and Abba's love everyday!

Pawned, not pwnd

Pawned by the puppeteer... A story was told by a friend, these images pretty much describe the situation:

Inside the story, Person B was used by Person A, whose ultimate goal was to manipulate Person C (moi). In other words, A, through using B, ultimately manipulated C.

A humorous image of a puppet controlling smaller puppets, but I cannot stress how much this picture describes what happens in the story.

A special story this was, and is never meant to be told again.

All these aside, I can break through all with Him! May I love brothers and sisters more and more, and enjoy & grow in His love everyday with these precious bros/sis'!

Grade 11!!

Haven't posted in my blog for almost 3 months =S
Been prepaing for Grad 11 over the summer, was also helping out at Summer Day Camp.

The first few days of grade 11... I slacked off ._. I didn't take much notes, or didn't put as much effort as I would've liked to. So after the weekend, I will try my hardest in this school year (that includes: way less games, and more studying. Most importantly, keep having a close relationship with God).

And to all my Grade 11 friends, good luck! Hope you all do as well as you'd liked!

Fez... not the hat, but the game

Several weeks ago, actually months ago, I found Fez, an inspirational game created by Polytron.

Here's a preview of it:

ZOMG! Mind-blasting much?

I really want to get that game, but I don't know when it's being released... D:

All I know is that it will be released in 2009.

Some people say it's Super Paper Mario inspired, but I think it's very similar to these games:

Echochrome

Crush

Well... I hope it releases soon!

Back from HK

Hong Kong was fun=]
Visited my relatives and some very old friends. My old friends were friends that used to live in the same complex/neighborhood as I did when I was around S.K. Each of our families met up with each other and we went for hot pot!
The adults had one table, and the teens (us) had another. Hot pot.. it was All-You-Can-Eat also! So our table decidede to order 10 plates of American beef meat, 10 plates of fish/octopus/beef balls, 6 plates of chick meat, 5 plates of lamb meat, 3 plates of sausages and (just for fun,) 1 plate of chicken testicles.

At first, only around 6 plates of American beef meat and fish balls came, so we ordered more- Round 2: 15 plates of American beef meat, 3 plates of chicken meat, 1 plate of sausages, and 2 plates of pig skin. [oh the joy] And still, only 6 plates of American beef came... so for Round 3, we had to personaly and repeatedly tell the waiter to get us 10 more plates of American beef.

Finally, the time came. 10 plates of beef stacked one on top of another. Then the table went barbaric, pouring two plates of beef into the pot at the same time. We finished the 10 plates of beef in no time, was very fun =D

Poem I thought of when I came home

Long before, we were going fine,
And your smile was bright as sunshine.
When I saw you, my heart skips a beat,
Even if I only saw your feet.
Then came the day when you said,
"I like somebody else instead."
As my heart fell to the floor,
I thought that the world was no more.
Everyday I hoped to restart,
But I don't know how to capture your heart.
Without you, there's grief and sorrow,
Without you, I can't face tomorrow.
Please don't leave me lonely,
Will you be my one and only?

High on Air?

So today, I went home and, as usual, started to see if there's any homework I didn't do. I couldn't think of any so I started chatting with my friends through MSN (Kristie, Iggy, Phil)

So then suddenly, a classmate in my History class (Matt N.) asks "Yo, do you know what do for the history project dur this thursday?"
And I was saying, "There's a project? Due THURSDAY?!"
"Yea man."
"When did he tell us?"
"He was snake and emailed it, like how he emailed the questions on the test to us last time, when no one checked their email."
"Oh, that *BEEP* *BEEP*. Imma start."
"Kk, cya later"

After this, I started telling my other history classmates about the project (whom had no idea about it, just like me >=D). Then we started working on it together, talking about the analyization and all the stuff I gotta do.

But then, maybe due to too much adrenaline rush, I started getting hyper and a little bit out of hand. So then my friend who worked with me suggested, "Are you alright? You seem.. different."
And I replied with: "I'm high. On air. I need more sugarr."
But then he acted as if he ignored be and continued to drone on about the project.

So I was talking to Kristie for a while, and I told her how I think im high on air.. and she replied "Just like my bestfriend =D"

And I thought to myself, "Cool. I'm not the only who can go high on oxygen >=D"

Goodtimes goodtimes

Interesting Riddles I Found Today

Some extreme (some might say) riddles I got today, here are some of them:

1. What room has no walls, no windows, and no doors?

2. What is closed when open, open when closed, and never open or closed?

3.
A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."

The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.

In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

4.
A prisoner is sent into custody. He is soon in court in front of the judge. The judge says, "I will give you one chance to lessen your punishment. To do this, you have to say one statement. If that statement is true, you will be in jail for 4 years. If it is false, you will be in jail for 6 years."

After a day of endless thinking, the prisoner finally came up with something. The judge called the prisoner in to hear his statement. After stating, the prisoner was set free.

What did the prisoner say?

5.
Three men decided to split the cost of a hotel room. The hotel manager gave them a price of $30.

The men split the bill evenly, each paying $10, and went to their room. However, the hotel manager realized that it was a Wednesday night, which meant the hotel had a special: rooms were only $25. He had overcharged them $5!

He called the bellboy, gave him five one-dollar bills and told him to return it to the men.

When the bellboy explained the situation to the men, they were so pleased at the honesty of the establishment that they promptly tipped the bellboy $2 of the $5 he had returned and each kept $1 for himself.

So each of the three men ended up paying $9 (their original $10, minus $1 back) totaling $27, plus $2 for the bellboy makes $29.

Where did the extra dollar go?

Can you solve any of them?

Good Times

My school had Winterfest today, but I decided not to join the snowboarding because it required me to buy a helmet. I did not want to buy a helmet just for this trip.

So instead of joining the trip, the people who didn't go stay at school.
I stayed with the following people: Kristie, Phillip, Laura, Aaron, Dylan

Good times... Stayed in the library all morning "doing work," then went to the Lower School to have lunch. After that, we helped paint props for the upcoming school play, Museum.

We had good times, messed around with the gluegun a lot.

Wish I could have more days like those

How can it be explained?

Suddenly feeling sad. Maybe it's 'cause my friend was feeling sad, and his 'sad waves' affected me.

But now, only 1 thing occupies my mind, only 1 person.

Well, time to pack up and head home soon. Fortunately, this took my mind off my sadness, but I'm still thinking about you.

Good times yesterday: Pacific Mall

Went to Pacific Mall yesterday with friends from school: Kristie, Vince, Winson

Good times. Very good times. We walked around into stores & looked at phone accessories. Then we went to eat, two of them had subs, and Winson and I had rice (just like all Asians are supposed to).

After eating, we first played a round of DDR, then took sticker pictures :D
I like those pictures :)

After that, we went to the "Splendid" China Tower & had a drink of bubble tea, walked around, looked at stores. And before any of us knew it, it was time to go home.

While others went home, I went to a friend's house and stayed until 10.

Yesterday was good times :D

Spotted an Item!

When I was getting out of my car in front of the house, I spotted something in the giant pile of snow...

At first I thought to myself, Oooohh... What's this? And then I saw a phone in a blue casing. The first thing I did was "Mom, look what I found." Then I tried to turn it on, but it turned out that it ran out of battery, as it must of been dropped by someone last night. The phone is a Sony Ericsson, and I still haven't examined it thoroughly yet, which I will after I complete my Science Lab Report ;)

I will probably put the SIM card into my own phone, then try to call someone with it. And then I'd have to [somehow] get a Sony Ericsson Charger, since all of the cell phones in my house are of Nokia D=

It was thrilling to find a phone, but I hope I can return it to its owner.

Another Blog Page

I've been working on my friend's blog, just the templates and the widgets.

Well, my friend made the blog for the guild Frostful in MMORPG MapleStory, and since I'm part of it, I thought of contributing.

This is the website:
http://frostful.blogspot.com

I added all the characters and their speech bubbles =D
Oh, and the music also, much like I did for my blog.

Good times on MapleStory with the guild~

MS Screenshots

Over the course of my MS-career (my time spent playing MapleStory), my good friend took an extreme large amount of screenshots. They were remembrances of very fun and good times.

WHO WAS THE GUY THAT DEFAMED YOU?!

No, YOU train him.

I'm a Super Saiyan! =D

Our guild, Frostful =D

Hell YEEE, 1 HIT!!

Bull or Balls?

Extreme good times with my friends and guildmate, Jarnis and BrawlerHawk and their other characters.

Career Studies

Right now, I am in Careers class, taking the "Interest Sorter."

There are 3 types of Categories: Hands-On, People, and Information

These are the # of each category I got:
Hands-On: 5
People: 5
Information: 6

Now I have to think of 3 jobs for the category with the highest number (Information).

Informational is the type that types a lot, expresses themselves with music and art, and studies.
Some jobs that these type of people would apply for is:
- Musician
- Programmer
- Artist
- Secretary

Time to pay attention in class, more to come

Blog Widgets and Templates

I found various templates for Blogger, and I also found music players for it too :D

There were several templates which I could decide between, so I just stuck with the original one that I used.

These were the templates that I couldn't decide between:
Bleach: My Soul is Winter (Hitsugaya Toushiru) template: http://www.blogskins.com/info/136196
Sad Fish template: http://btemplates.com/2008/07/30/sad-fish/
One Piece template: http://btemplates.com/2008/10/07/one-piece/
And the one that I am using right now.

There are previews for each of the templates, and I like 'My Soul is Winter' the most, but the bad thing about it is that it is in HTML, meaning that half of my useful widgets (eg. my Tag Cloud) will be gone >.<

So...if there are any opinions for which template to use, comment!

If not, I'll just stick with the one I'm using right now.

Zodiac - 1st Place: Rat

Personality

Occupying the 1st and most prominent position on the Chinese Zodiac, the Rat symbolizes such character traits as wit, imagination and curiosity. Rats have keen observation skills and with those skills they’re able to deduce much about other people and other situations. Overall, Rats are full of energy, talkative and charming but they have a tendency to become aggressive.

Rats are full of good advice but they will never share their troubles with others. They are honest individuals and they enjoy living for the moment. They’re also capable of surviving any situation.

Health

Overall Rats enjoy good health. They’re very active which helps keep them in shape and able to fight off sickness. They can at times be tense, aggressive, and full of nervous energy, conditions which can lead to stress. Regular exercise designed to calm will benefit Rats.

Career

Extremely perceptive and wise, Rats can focus on the big picture. That ability along with their good judgment enables Rats to solve problems before they arise. Rats focus on titles because titles translate into status and money; two motivating forces. Rats make excellent bosses. Routine halts their creativity so Rats need flexible positions that allow creativity. Good career choices include: administrator, director, manager, entrepreneur, broadcaster, writer, musician, stand-up comedian, politician, lawyer, researcher, and race car driver.

Relationships

Rats are very charming. They enjoy social activities and because they’re out a lot, they’re always meeting new people. They aren’t good at breaking off relationships however, and this presents problems going forward with new relationships. Anyone hoping to partner with a Rat must be able to keep up with the Rat’s active nature.

Zodiac - 2nd Place: Ox

Home is where Oxen go to seek comfort, occasionally watching television or reading. They prefer the rural outdoors and spend the majority of their “home” time working in the garden or caring for the yard.

Health

Oxen are strong individuals who overall are healthy and live long, fulfilled lives. However, they tend to work too much, rarely allowing themselves enough time to relax. Oxen could benefit from incorporating more non-work-related activity into their lives.

Career

Oxen prefer work that is routine. They take a methodological approach to their tasks and excel in jobs that are specialized. Oxen possess a keen eye for detail and an admirable work ethic. They are more productive when allowed to work alone. Good career choices for oxen include: interior designer, painter, carpenter, quarry worker, archeologist, horticulturist, mechanic, engineer, draftsman, banker, broker, real estate agent and army officer.

Relationships

Oxen aren’t very sociable and rarely participate in group activities. They abhor small talk and won’t waste their time flirting. They will search long and hard for the perfect partner as change makes them uncomfortable. Whether due to an ox’s tendency to be overbearing or tendency to place blame on others, relationships with Oxen don’t always work out. When Oxen realize that partnerships involve two people and two points of view, satisfying matches are possible.

Zodiac - 3rd Place: Tiger

Personality

Tigers love to be challenged and will accept any challenge if it means protecting a loved one or protecting their honor. Born to lead, Tigers can be stubborn if they realize they’re not in charge. They have a slight tendency to be selfish but overall, Tigers are extremely generous. They’re very intelligent and they’re always on alert. Tigers are very charming and are well-liked by others. They are not motivated by money or power.

Health

As they do their enemies, Tigers have a tendency to pounce on their work. Afterwards, they’re left feeling exhausted. Although they’ll soon bounce right back, over time this approach can cause problems with their health. Tigers need to develop a more balanced approach to life so they can utilize their energy more efficiently.

Career

Tigers have a continual need to be challenged which may explain why they jump from job to job. This isn’t necessarily a problem because they’re smart and able to quickly master new subjects. The best jobs for Tigers are those that will lead them towards positions of leadership. Some suitable careers for Tigers include: advertising agent, office manager, travel agent, actor, writer, artist, pilot, flight attendant, musician, comedian and chauffeur.

Relationships

Creative in their passion, Tigers will never bore their partners. They’re expressive, polite and trustworthy, but watch out. Tigers tend to dominate their relationships. Rabbits could benefit from more everyday activity which would reduce their stress levels and better their health.

Relationships

Rabbits are very sexual, but tend to give more of themselves than they should. This can lead to unrealistic expectations and unhealthy situations. Rabbits need partners who won’t take advantage of their giving nature. Such pairings will be strong.

Career

Rabbits are articulate and good communicators which is why friends and acquaintances seek out their advice. It’s also why Rabbits make excellent diplomats and politicians. Other good careers for Rabbits include: writer, publisher, actor, fashion designer, therapist, doctor, administrator, public relations, and teacher.

Zodiac - 5th Place: Dragon

Personality

Dragons prefer to live by their own rules and if left on their own, are usually successful. They’re driven, unafraid of challenges, and willing to take risks. While Dragons frequently help others, rarely will they ask for help. Others are attracted to Dragons, especially their colorful personalities, but deep down, Dragons prefer to be alone. Perhaps that is because they’re most successful when working alone. Their preference to be alone can come across as arrogance or conceitedness, but these qualities aren’t applicable. Dragons have tempers that can flare fast!

Considering their hard-working nature, Dragons are healthy overall. They do get stressed and suffer from periodic tension/headaches, likely because they take so many risks. Dragons could benefit from incorporating mild activity into their lives. Yoga or walking would be good as these activities can work both their minds and their bodies.

Career

Dragons prefer leading to being led. Jobs that allow them to express their creativity are good choices. Some good careers include: inventor, manager, computer analyst, lawyer, engineer, architect, broker, and sales person.

Relationships

Dragons will give into love, but won’t give up their independence. Because they have quick, sometimes vengeful tempers, their partners need to be tough-skinned. Dragons enjoy others who are intriguing, and when they find the right partners, they’ll usually commit to that person for life.

Zodiac - 6th Place: Snake

Personality

Occupying the 6th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Snake symbolizes such character traits as intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. When it comes to decision-making, Snakes are extremely analytical and as a result, they don’t jump into situations. They are effective at getting the things they want, even if it means they have to scheme and plot along the way.

Snakes are very materialistic creatures, preferring to surround themselves with the finest that life has to offer. This is especially evident in the home, where luxurious furnishings and surroundings help Snakes seek the peace they need in order to thrive.

Health

Snakes prefer living a life of calmness, preferring quietness over noise and a manageable workload rather than a schedule that’s overly-booked. Snakes become easily stressed when their lives aren’t peaceful or in order. Too much of this way of life can shorten a snake’s life!

Career

Snakes do work very hard, but they have a tendency to be job-hoppers as they become easily bored. Their somewhat laid-back attitude causes them to be mistakenly categorized as slackers, but nothing could be further from the truth! Snakes are very creative and extremely diligent. They’re excellent problem-solvers and thrive under tight deadlines. Good career choices for Snakes include: scientist, analyst, investigator, painter, potter, jeweler, astrologer, magician, dietician, and sociologist.

Relationships

Snakes are excellent seducers so they never have trouble attracting others. However, they’ll be the ones to decide when a relationship has potential and when it does not. Once they’ve chosen a partner, a Snake’s insecure side will begin to show through. Snakes guards their chosen partners much like a prized possessions, becoming jealous and even obsessive. Snakes prefer to keep their feelings to themselves. It’s important to never betray a Snake’s trust as a betrayed snake will make it a goal to get even some day!

Zodiac - 7th Place: Horse

Personality

Occupying the 7th position on the Chinese Zodiac, the Horse symbolizes such character traits as strength, energy, and an outgoing nature. They’re perhaps a bit too centered on themselves and have been known to throw tantrums when situations don’t go their way.

Health

Horses are very healthy, most likely because they maintain a positive outlook on life and because they’re athletic. Lead Horses to wide, open spaces and watch them run free! Horses will usually only feel ill when they’re trapped inside.

Career

Horses enjoy positions in which they can interact with others. They aren’t fond of taking orders and they’ll run from jobs they consider routine. They’re able to grasp new subjects with ease making them capable of handling most any job. They’re effective communicators and they enjoy power. Good career choices for Horses include: publicist, sales representative, journalist, language instructor, translator, bartender, performer, tour operator, librarian or pilot.

Relationships

Horses, being spontaneous, have a tendency to fall fast and hard for others. They tend to give themselves fully in each new relationship a quality that ends up chipping away at their inner being. Fortunately, this exhausting trait mellows with age and relationships are stronger and more stable later in life.
